Your Sunday news & updates
Good afternoon everyone, a little late with the newsletter today, lovely long walk this afternoon in the sunshine.
On Monday morning of last week Sheila gave me an envelope containing £15 to put towards our Stanway Rovers collection. Sheila had taken part in STOPtober this money would have been spent on Pringles and Pretzels, thank you Sheila and well done.
Funny comment from class this week:
On Tuesday morning I got out the resistance bands and yes I know like the scarfs they are a “marmite” class but many of you like them them and can feel the benefit. As Kate left the class she said “thank you Julie I enjoyed the straps”
I know I shouldn’t but that did make me laugh!
Wear your poppy with pride:
Millions of people in countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, France, and Belgium, celebrate Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day, every Nov. 11, by wearing red poppy flowers to commemorate civilians and military personnel who lost their lives in wars. 2 mins silence in tomorrow’s class.
Classes next week
Monday morning at Highwood’s will be a Body Conditioning class, I will have some mats with me for you to use. I also have mats for sale at £15 each.
All other classes are the same with no changes.
Hope you have fun, all you need to do is paint a rock, write @ColchesterRocksUK on the back and hide it in or in the villages around Colchester!
If you find a painted rock, you can either keep it or re hide it for someone else to find.
Please do share what you’ve found or give clues to where you are hiding as that would be fun too.
Just have fun and remember sharing is caring and not all rocks will show up on here but just remember it’s still made someone’s day! This is something that Tony and Lula have been involved with and a great way to get out for a walk.
Show – Only Fools & Horses = Christmas gift idea.
