Fitness Pilates is based on the original teachings of Joseph Pilates. Each exercise is designed to target the deep postural muscles of the body, building strength from the inside out and re-balancing your muscles. Fitness Pilates is not as complex as Pilates and I find this suites many more clients.
Fitness Pilates attacks the roots of bad posture by toning little-used muscles groups in the abdomen, torso, upper and lower back while incorporating a slow breathing technique to energise the body. Fitness Pilates moves are also designed to work the muscles of the whole body, abdominals, lower back, thighs, buttocks, calves, arms, shoulders and to gently lengthen them. It is a no-impact class suitable for men and women of ages, levels, and abilities, it is a good way to relax and unwind to slow peaceful music.
I am very excited to be able to bring Fitness Pilates classes to Move 2 Lose for 2019.
Many of you that have attended Pilates classes will know that these classes are run in a blocks, they are prepaid and that you have to book your place. I intend to run drop-in classes on a Monday night and book in classes/courses to suit everyone.
This is how it will work for us at Move 2 Lose
Monday night’s Fitness Pilates class at Shrub End Hall is a drop in class and you will not need to book, just turn up.
£6 per class attended. 7.30 – 8.15pm
Fitness Pilates Courses:
This one hour class will take place on a Wednesday at Shrub End Hall from 11.15 – 12.15.
These classes run each Wednesday unless changes made at Shrub End Hall 11.15- 12.15. The cost is £7 per class attended, there is no concession for PC members. There are limited spaces please contact Julie to book your place. Spaces available.
Payment can be made in class by cash or cheque or if you prefer contact Julie to pay via bacs.
