• I had to improve my health

    Having been told I was pre-diabetic and very close to becoming diabetic and needing medication, I made a conscious decision to exercise regularly at Move to Lose classes and follow a Low Blood Sugar diet.  I simply had to improve my health and wanted to avoid medication. Julie’s classes are as challenging as you want them to be and are enormous fun – certainly not a chore and something to look forward to. I am pleased to say that this very week I have been tested by the Diabetic Nurse and told that my blood sugar levels have decreased so much that I am now just into the ‘ Normal’ range and no longer pre-diabetic. Thank you Julie for helping me on my journey to good health.


  • Loved the Pilates

    Just to say a big thank you for the class today. Loved the Pilates again and will miss it over the next few weeks but I will be back . The Pilates always leaves me feeling that I have worked my body hard, stretched it well but my mind is relaxed! Great feeling.

    I have been a member for a while at Move 2 Lose and have battled health problems to get where I am today, very determined to get that next half stone off all the time, which has turned into stones!
    I have gone down from a size 20 to a 14, thanks Julie.


  • Time to exercise

    Over the previous year I had put on weight and decided it was time to do some exercise. I didn’t want to just go to a weighing class; I needed to do exercise as well.

    I will never forget my first class, I was really nervous and wished I had come with someone instead of on my own, all the other ladies knew what they were doing but I think I did more ‘wrong steps’ than ‘right steps’, but I enjoyed myself I knew that I was definitely going to go back the next week.

    Hi Julie, just wanted to say thank you for your wonderful talks in class over the past few weeks. Learning about our bodies and all the various muscles. Also how certain foods are good for us and how. I have made quite a few changes to my eating and feel great.
