Sharing is caring!

Sunday, Sunday
What a lovely day after yesterday, washing on the line ,leaves to sweep up, windows to wash, hoovering, dusting, cleaning and that’s just Tony’s jobs for today..ha ha
Hope you will make the most of the sunshine and fresh air today.
Great classes this week and lovely to see some new faces for the month of January…. the DIET month. The TV is packed with programmes telling you to do this…do that…eat this…eat that…don’t eat that…eat this…CONFUSING
Simple, watch your portion sizes, don’t overeat, move more and eat healthy.
Walk your dog and raise funds for the Guide Dogs…..

All dog owners know that every day is walking the dog day – but this is your chance to make you and your dog try just a little harder.
Your dog has the power to give someone a new life. Help us show what a simple dog walk can do by marking Walking the Dog Day on Thursday 22 February, by raising funds and awareness for Guide Dogs.Everyone who registers for this event will receive a Dogs Unite dog tag in their welcome pack.
We challenge you to raise £35 in sponsorship – enough to support a guide dog partnership for a whole week! Check out our page and click this link.
Once registered you’ll receive your welcome pack, complete with free super dog cape and sponsorship form, and can start your fundraising.
Please ask Julie to give you some money if you sign up for this as I would be very happy to help.
My Son Christopher
I often speak of my daughter Laura and many of you have met her in class. Let me introduce you to my son Christopher Palmer. As you can see he does not get his height from mum and I am wearing heels!
Christopher will be 26 in February and used to be my “little man” but now his role is reaching things from cupboards and shelves that I cannot reach.
Water, drink it don’t waste it!
Both my son and my brother work for water companies, John works for The Environment Agency and Christopher for Essex & Suffolk Water.
Words from the boys/internet.
A running tap uses 6 litres of water a minute, a shower can use anywhere between 9 – 45 litres per minute, a hosepipe uses as much as 1000 litres per hour.
Toilet flushing accounts for 30% of our daily water use – with old toilets using as much as 14 litres per flush compared to new dual flush models which use as little as 2.6 and 4 litres per flush.
Fixing a dripping tap can save as much as 5000 litres a year – if everyone in the UK fixed their dripping taps we would save enough water to supply 120,000 for one day.
Don’t waste it DRINK it…..
