Move 2 Lose = O

OH dear we have reached O or is it 0…. Outstanding
Thank you so much for all my birthday wishes, cards, flowers FB messages and presents.
I was Overwhelmed by how many of you remembered, and in true fitness form most of your cards had a weight loss/diet/exercise theme…. funny.
It was with great pride that I phoned Colchester Hospital to tell them the news that we had money to give!
The lady on the phone was very keen to hear my story of how a “closed business” could raise so much money for the NHS.
Do you have a sticker, I still have a few left @ £2.50 each and Liz has started sewing again.
All funds raised now will go to the Zoo.

NHS – I have had such good treatment – NHS Clap Sunday 5th July

No I am no 72, but in my “many” years I have had good value from the NHS.
I was born on the 30th June 1963 in the Military Hospital, no my dad was not in the army, we lived close by and mum says she had the best treatment! (knocked down – houses)
I spent a long time in Essex County Hospital Lexden Road ( knocked down – houses)
I spent some time in Myland Isolation Ward ( meningitis) Knocked down – houses
I gave birth to Laura & Christopher at The Maternity Hospital Lexden Road ( houses)
Many trips and stays at Colchester General Hospital, thank you NHS.
On Sunday 5 July, the day the NHS was founded, the whole country is invited to come together at 5pm to applaud all those who have been helping us through the pandemic and recognise the vital community connections that continue to support us all.

Over eating – Over indulged – Obese – you have Options

Yep that’s me!
If you have got into bad habits you need to break them NOW.
Over eating is not good for you, your stomach, your health, your mind.
Your stomach is the size of your fist. Main meals should be no bigger than two fists.
Over indulging, cakes, biscuits, bread, pasta, cheese, wine, beer.
They will come back and bite you on the B*M or sit on your hips! Remember, Julie will tell you, make the right choices/options, now she needs to tell herself.

Oranges, Omelettes, Olives – Mediterranean diet

Oranges. Fortified orange juice is currently the only fruit product commonly sold with vitamin D.
The first use of the term “omelette” appeared in a French cookbook in the late seventeenth century called Cuisine Bourgeoisie, and the term has stuck ever since in French culture. Spanish omelette or Spanish tortilla is a traditional dish from Spain and one of the signature dishes in the Spanish cuisine. It is an omelette made with eggs and potatoes,
Olives and olive oil contain an abundance of phenolic antioxidants as well as the anti-cancer compounds squalene and terpenoid. They also contain high levels of the monounsaturated fatty acid, oleic acid, which reduces excessive inflammation.
I love oranges, satsumas, tangerines and omelettes, but sorry you can keep your oilves.
My O is for….. Others – Optimistic
Do Others keep their distance, are Others considerate. Is it 1 meter is it 2 meters, do I wear a mask, don’t I wear a mask?
Optimistic – the dictionary states: hopeful and confident about the future.
I try and keep optimistic about when we can return and at the same time I am very concerned with how quickly we have moved into pubs and restaurants opening.
A statement is to be made soon about gym’s opening, but as I have said before I am not a gym and will have to go by the guidelines for exercising inside in groups. Outside gyms can open and you may now go to the cinema (Helen) but of course I will be listening to what the experts have to say.
Things are going to be very different at Move 2 Lose.
Have you had your hair cut yet?
