Your Sunday News
It was lovely that so many of you missed me, and I was also pleased to hear that many of you did do some of the homework tasks.
I had a wonderful holiday and much needed rest, I would like to share a holiday story (told in Tuesday morning’s class).
On our first morning at the breakfast table we were greeted by the owner of the complex who explained that it was the end of the season and that it was very quiet during our stay (Brilliant thinks Julie)
She then went on to say…… However on Friday we have 19 ladies arriving with their teacher (Julie is thinking Art, Sewing ) an AEROBICS teacher at which point Tony say’s “oh that’s nice” Julie’s head hits the breakfast table and Tony his mum and her friend all burst out laughing. The lady looks at me and says oh im sure they wont mind if you join in   !!!!!!
(she has know idea what I do for a living).
They arrive on Friday take over the pool and the music was so loud…
 Where is Julie…..
off into town, market anywhere but watching OR joining in.
It could have been worse I tell myself  – it could have been Rosemary lol   …….
No Class Wednesday night at Alderman Blaxill School.
I am sorry but the hall is being used on Wednesday evening at the school so there will no be a class on Wednesday 12th.
Music and what you said
I could not believe it when on Thursday night at Highwood’s Janet asked me to turn the music UP… that’s a first Janet,
On Wednesday Christine told me she wanted to dance her way through the warm up to a bit of salsa music.
On Friday morning we had “strong / loud”  music playing and at the end mum & Maureen said they loved it, you should try Saturday’s class ladies!
On Saturday morning Drew told me it was too loud!!
Thyme or No Time ?
Closely related to mint and oregano, thyme is an evergreen herb that’s had scores of uses over millennia, stemming most often from adding zest to foods and as an ancient medicinal.
Traditional therapies often involved thyme in different forms to relieve chest congestion and coughs. Greeks and Romans consumed it both as an antidote for poison and to prevent the plague.
In the Middle Ages, people placed thyme under pillows to inhibit nightmares and in their baths to purify themselves for religious rites. The Romans believed it could impart energy and valor, even sprinkling it in cheese and alcohol and mixing in honey.
Please find some Time to enjoy Thyme.
Some of you have terrible time keeping ( I know me included ) you walk in when I am talking, when the warm up has started, and my time keeping means we normally run over.
I told the class on Friday morning that means they get 15 mins for FREE…. Bargain I say.
Great to be back ladies & gentlemen, see you soon.
Julie
