Sharing is caring!

Well done:

Another hot and humid week which we started with using the scarfs and many of you found them harder than you thought you would, great fun had by all….(I think)
We ended the week with Janet popping in to see us on Saturday and she is looking amazing, it was lovely that she found the time and her trainers to come and see us.ha ha
On Friday Nikki Bowdidge came to class and I was so pleased that many of you attended to hear Nikki tell us that the money raised would be used to help families at a time that is financially hard to them, using the money specifically for teenagers and their families.
I felt very proud and a little emotional (again) to wear the charity t shirt and be part of such a wonderful group of people that continue to raise funds for charity again and again…..
This weeks news has been all about The Moon:
The Eagle has landed. That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
Next weeks news will be about number 10 and our new prime minister!
Oh, how I could turn that quote around!
History in the making……We are still talking about the moon 50 years on, we may be talking about next week for longer than that!
(enough Julie, never talk about sex, religion or politics)

I’m off to count 5p pieces, have you put your guess in yet?

Summer fruit and watermelon

Wondering what percentage of watermelon is water? As the name of the fruit implies, watermelon is 90% water, making it one of the best sources of hydration.
Why not bring along to class to eat at the end for a quick and refreshing snack.
Take to work, perfect snack in this heat.
How to cut a watermelon? answer = carefully.
Classes this week:
Thursday night’s class at Highwoods is a Body Conditioning class – all welcome.
Friday’s class will be starting earlier as Julie & Tony are attending Charlotte’s wedding so please arrive to START the class at 9.30am, thank you.
Please make sure you read the notice board carefully for the month of August as there are a few class changes, details will be on future newsletters.
It’s going to be another hot week and I know some of you struggle with the humidity when exercising, please keep your arms low and stop when you need too by bringing yourself back to a march. Grab a drink at anytime, don’t wait for me to stop you. If it is very hot I will introduce some standing stretching or chair work so don’t stay away.
Have a good day,
Julie
