Thank you for all you kind messages and emails, so sorry that I have not been able to reply to you all.
Cancelling classes is something I never want to do but this time it was absolutely necessary. We have a what’s app group that is used for times like this and of course this email system. If you booked and paid for classes for last Monday & Tuesday morning I think I have booked you back in for the coming week, If I owe you a class please get in touch so we can arrange to re- book you another class in it’s place.
All classes are now back to normal.
Next week I will give you more information on classes leading up to Christmas and New Year – NO holiday for me this year.
Mental Elf Hunt 2021
What’s the story? – Words from the Mind Charity
Santa’s Elves have been out looking for Christmas presents across Mid and North East Essex but they seem to have got lost. No doubt they have been up to mischief again and are hiding in shop windows, can you help Santa to find them all?
It appears they’ve mixed up the letters of a Christmas word, can you find all the letters and work out the word?
Get the children out and about in the run up to Christmas and look for our cheeky elves; exercise and laughter are great for everyone’s mental well being, children and adults alike!
You can choose to hunt for our Elves in Colchester Town Centre, Clacton Shopping Village or Chelmsford City Centre.
How do I take part?
Simply register online with your preferred location of the hunt, and we’ll send you your clue sheet to help guide you to the Elves and find out what letters they’ve got for the Christmas word.
Words from Julie – Lula Tony and myself took part in this last year and we had so much fun. For just £5 (more if you want to) you can buy the clue sheet and then away you go up town to find the elves in the shop windows…honestly it’s great fun, the children will love it. Secretly I think Tony enjoyed it more than Lula!
Last Friday was my “Black Friday” offering you a 90 mins class with an extra session of stand up stretching.
Many people had asked me about the pilates class with the biggest fear being able to do it!
No I do not make you stand on your head, no I do not bend you in half, no you do not need to touch your toes BUT the health and mental health benefits of stretching are HUGE.

As you know for many years we have collected postage stamps for charity and many of you have asked me about still collecting them.
Against Breast Cancer will take stamps and I would be happy to collect them but please follow their instructions and remove as much paper as you can please.
Details from the web page:
Please cut the stamp off the envelope. When cutting, leave approximately 1cm of envelope bordering each stamp. The rest of the envelope can be discarded (which will make it cheaper to send).
Collected stamps should then be sent to: or give to Julie
