Though meat is no longer roasted in front of the fire, and today is baked in the modern oven, we still cling to the term “Sunday roast.” On Sundays throughout the UK, pubs, and restaurants are packed full of people buying a Sunday Roat. But for many, cooking and serving Sunday lunch at home is the very heart of British food and cooking.
I love a Sunday Roast, what are you cooking today?
Pork, Chicken, Beef or Lamb
Fill the plate with vegetables, as many as you can.
Keep your plate small and not piled up high
Say no to Yorkshire’s, go on give it a try.
Sunday lunch does not need to be bad
It’s only bad if you go mad.
Enjoy!
