Wow …… another amazing and a little crazy year for Julie and Move 2 Lose.
I would like to welcome all the new members that joined us this year, and thank those that have continued their membership for another year.
What did we get up to in 2016?
January. A huge start to the year by sending 64 stone in weight of Christmas Cards to the Woodland Trust via Marks & Spencer’s. Thank you to Mr Cross and my son Christopher for loading up the trailer to deliver them all.
This year please take your cards directly to M&S yourselves, thank you.
February. New class opens on a Tuesday morning at Shrub End hall and has steadily grown in numbers with floor mats now being used in this class.
March. I was invited by Sainsbury’s to help out with Sport’s Relief and it was a huge relief when so many of you turned up to support me in the entrance doors of the store in Stanway, thank you.
April. Barn Dance for Essex Air Ambulance, a cheque for £750 was taken over to the helicopter base by myself and Lindsey. Watch out for the date for 2017 and put your name down NOW!
May. Midnight Walk, the first year of having two teams completing 3 or 7 miles, also with Move 2 Lose being asked to put on a display, and oh how we laughed, well done ladies.
