Your Sunday News & Updates
Valentine’s Day….. how many of you used this as an excuse as to why you put on weight, and then next week it will another excuse and then it will be March and hopefully NO chocolate in March.
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is posing the ultimate challenge for all you chocoholics out there: try to give up the sweet stuff for the month of March…
Why, you ask, would anyone ever request that you give up the craving-inducing, mouthwateringly creamy loveliness that is chocolate? No, it’s not a torture technique – it’s all to support a really good cause. The ‘Dechox’ campaign aims to raise money for cardiovascular research.
Heart and circulatory disease affects seven million people in the UK, according to the BHF. This isn’t a small number. That’s why the foundation is encouraging all ‘Dechoxers’, as they’re known, to help raise even bigger fundraising numbers this year.
