It seems when I go away training I come back with more energy not less….
your words!
Alderman Blaxill School
The letter I have been dreading has now arrived, a few months earlier than I expected.
Alderman Blaxill School will close to the general public for hire on May 31st 2017.
Our last class at the School will be :
Monday 22nd May.
I am in talks with Stanway School to move both the Monday night classes over. There will be a slight class time change to fit in with present arrangements at Stanway School.
Further details will be given nearer the time, believe me when I say NO one is more upset then me by this news.
It was my school……
I don’t want to lose anyone, perhaps we could look into car sharing nearer the time.
Mad March:   March through MARCH.
Some of you are taking part in No chocolate March, but how about 10.0000 steps everyday.
How will this make a difference to your physical health and how you feel: You may wear a Fit Bit you may not! 10.000 steps a day is not as easy as you think. Depending on your work and lifestyle, so do you need to walk around a little more than you do now and why should you?
  • Even moderate exercise can build stamina, burn excess calories, give you a healthier heart and protect you against a range of diseases including cancer.
  • Walking is a great way to stay fit – an average 45 year old weighing 11 stone will burn 400 calories with 10,000 steps of brisk walking.
  • However you decide to get active, walking, Move 2 Lose classes make you feel like a winner. As well as causing mood-lifting chemical changes in the brain, you’ll enjoy a sense of greater self-esteem, self-control and the ability to rise to a challenge.
  • Want that extra treat, drink…….have you done enough exercise?
Next Saturday 11th March
class time change for this week only.
Weigh-in 8.45am
Exercise 9 – 9.45am
