Harvest Festival – Weight Loss

Sharing is caring!

Harvest Festival donations
just may help you to lose weight.

Next week brings the start of Julie’s Harvest Festival, this will work nicely alongside our 10lb weigh loss challenge. As you are aware I work very closely with the Night shelter in Colchester that help with the homeless. Can I ask you have a clear out in your cupboards and find me some tins/packets cartons or give away all those naughty items that will help others and may help you to lose some weight.
If you can spare a few pennies when you are shopping items that are needed at the moment are:
Cereals, cartons of orange juice, tinned meat, biscuits, crisps, snacks, nuts, or any items you wish to donate.
There will be a box in class for your donations, please note this is purely your choice, do not feel obliged to take part.
Thank you.

Join the 10lb weight loss challenge, starts Monday.

Picture the scene:

New lady walks in to enquire about my classes. I am showing her the set up of the room when an existing pc members is waiting to sign in.
Julie say “some of my member have been with me for over 10 years” – looking at the pc member, she replies “yes and I think I have lost a pound a year”

How funny is that……BUT lets get serious on this quote:
Have you lost weight?
Are you bigger now than when you joined?
YES or NO
Are you fitter than you have ever been in your life?
Are you more supple?
Is your breathing and balance better during class.

So surely it’s not all about your weight loss or is it?
Would you like to lose 10lb ?????

WHO would like to join the 10lb weigh loss challenge:
Start w/c Monday 25th September
Last weigh in w/c 4th December :
That’s 11 weigh in’s = 10lb weight loss.

Pick up your Butterfly in class and see the pounds FLY AWAY…..Julie x

You may just win the prize of the year, but what is it? “it’s a surprise……

Crisps or not crisps ?

A potato chip or crisp is a thin slice of potato that has been deep fried or baked until crunchy. Potato chips are commonly served as a snack, side dish, or appetizer. (or all 3 !)

Is a crisp a crisp when it’s a pringle – hoola hoop – wotsits – french fries – quavers – skips etc etc.
Or is it:
Not what you eat but how many you eat?

Use this week coming and try and cut down the amount of crisps you eat.
Give them to Julie to give away.

Julie x
