Sunday Newsletter
Hello everyone and welcome to the new members that have joined us this week.
For many weeks I wrote no rain but this week has seen the grass starting to turn green and the water butts filling up, it also meant that I pushed the level up a little in class.
I have been absolutely amazed by the response to your help with the 2019 club fund raising, for anyone that is new this means that I have pledged to raise £2019 in 2019 and I have told myself that I will not count up the boxes until nearer the time. However this week I have emptied the handbag tin as it was so heavy and Wow …… the auction bags will continue and another thank you for your very kind donations and purchases.
I have been given a 6′ White Christmas tree and a bag of decorations for a donation to COHOC this may be for you, a playschool or care home, are you interested?
Wendy – Carrie – Stella
These 3 ladies have signed up for the COHOC abseil down the town hall on Saturday 1st September. All of them have sponsorship forms and the link above is for our youngest Move 2 Lose member Stella at only 17. Stella’s nan has recently needed treatment at the hospital and she has decided to take part in this amazing activity, these are Stella’s words:
I am taking part in the Super Stars Abseil for Colchester Hospitals Charity on Saturday 1st September, abseiling 66 feet down the Town Hall. I am raising money towards the Cancer Centre Campaign at Colchester General Hospital as it’s the place that’s looking after my wonderful nan. This centre does vital work to help all those affected and their families, and I would like to raise some money to help them continue to do so.
(made me cry) Well done ladies I am very proud of all 3 of you, will anyone else sign up?
Handbag winners
We have 2 more lucky winners of this weeks handbags:
Heather and one other to be decided.
And again a tie break that the ladies will receive private emails to change their bids.
Keep looking as more on offer next week.
