Fitness Pilates

Fitness Pilates is based on the original teachings of Joseph Pilates. Each exercise is designed to target the deep postural muscles of the body, building strength from the inside out and re-balancing your muscles.

Fitness Pilates attacks the roots of bad posture by toning little-used muscles groups in the abdomen, torso, upper and lower back while incorporating a slow breathing technique to energise the body. Fitness Pilates moves are also designed to work the muscles of the whole body, abdominals, lower back, thighs, buttocks, calves, arms, shoulders and to gently lengthen them. It is a no-impact class suitable for men and women of ages, levels, and abilities, it is a good way to relax and unwind to slow peaceful music.


I am very excited to be able to bring Fitness Pilates classes to Move 2 Lose for 2019.

Many of you that have attended FP classes will know that these classes are run in a block, they are prepaid and that you have to book your place. I intend to run drop-in classes and courses to suit everyone.

This is how it will work for us at Move 2 Lose

Monday night’s Fitness Pilates class at Shrub End Hall is a drop in class and you will not need to book, just turn up.
£6 per class attended. 7.30 – 8.15pm


Fitness Pilates Courses:

This one hour class will take place on a Wednesday’s at Shrub End Hall from 11.15 – 12.15.

These classes will be in blocks, prepaid and no refunds given for classes not attended, also there is no concession for PC members. There are limited spaces and it will be on a first come, pay upfront basis.

The second course will run from Wednesday 3rd April until Wednesday 27th, this is a 4 week course and the cost will be £28.          Spaces available.

Payment can be made in class by cash or cheque or if you prefer contact Julie to pay via bacs.
